BECC is proud to have been part of the construction of the Niagara Office Administration Facility. This Project consisted of a two storey building totaling nearly 40,000 sq. ft. on 7 acres of property. The building was constructed for the following tenants: Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Marines, Armed Forces and the Canadian Border Security Agency with Public Works Government Services Canada being the owner of the facility. The structure was built with LEED Gold certification in mind and consisted of photovoltaic roof panels, green roof vegetation and geothermal ground heat system. The exterior façade of the edifice is composed of aluminum composite panels, copper composite panels, large skylight, brick and curtain wall. The exterior of the facility is ballistic rated as the walls consist of sheet steel and the curtain wall has a shatter proof glass film within the glass composition. Interior features consist of living walls, LEED rated millwork and other architectural finishes.
