BECC is proud to be part of the construction team of the Green Valley Wastewater Pumping Station. This project involves the construction of a new cast-in-place concrete wet well and dry pit including an inlet channel with sluice gates at the wet well inlet, stairwells, floor trench and sump, and wet well benching. The Green Valley Wastewater Pumping Station’s three 85 H.P. submersible dry pit pumps with two pumps operating are expected to provide a duty point of 102.2 Lps at 47.5m of TDH. In addition, the project also entails the construction of a new control room which includes electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, access hatches, an office, mechanical room and a washroom. The new control room exterior consists of masonry block veneer, asphalt shingle roofing, prefabricated wood trusses and structural steel. Exterior works com-prises of asphalt paving, landscaping and site servicing. The depth excavation for this project was 12 meters down with continuous dewatering being required.
